about the filmmakers:

MATTHEW CHARLES HALL (Director, Producer, Story) is an award winning documentary filmmaker from Southern California. His film credits as director and writer include DARK HORIZON, the short horror film IN THE LAND OF PHANTOMS and the award winning documentary short film 100 MOUNTAINS (which was filmed and premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2008, out of competition). He is the founder of the production company Hall Legacy and is currently developing three projects for potential feature films.

KEVIN OSBORNE (Writer, Producer) is an actor, screenwriter, and film producer from Vermont. As a screenwriter he has penned the screenplay for IN THE LAND OF PHANTOMS (which premiered in Cannes, France in May of 2008) and the screenplay for the film HUNTING GROUNDS. As an actor he has appeared in a variety of films including the swashbuckling adventure film DARK HORIZON and the award winning short film LEGION. He recently wrapped the dramatic short film THE BLANKS and is the co-creator of the web series CHIP AND CHARLES. He is the co-founder of OzPugh Productions which helped bring HUNTING GROUNDS to the screen.

THAD WHITLEY (Producer, Visual Effects) is a film producer and special effects make up artist from Southern California. His company DENTAL DISTORTIONS (www.dentaldistortions.com) is a leading Halloween make up effects company in the industry. His creations have been seen in countless films including HUNTING GROUNDS and the recent cult hit HOUSE OF THE WOLF MAN. In addition to his make up effects, Thad’s dental appliances have been seen in countless Hollywood films including RESIDENT EVIL: APOCALYPSE and DAWN OF THE DEAD.

TROY GUTHRIE (Producer) is an actor and film producer from northern California. Guthrie’s talents range from both the stage and the screen, having starred in projects ranging from Hall Legacy’s DARK HORIZON to Motzart’s THE MAGIC FLUTE. HUNTING GROUNDS marks his first time producing a feature film. In addition to his acting endeavors, Guthrie has begun plans for his own production company, aiding young independent filmmakers in acquiring funds and talents to create their own visions on film.
