A recent development occurred on January 1st, 2009, nearly 120 miles away from the Roswell crash site. An unidentified flying object crash landed in the desert sands. This landmark occurrence was made only more awe-inspiring when a group of college aged students fell victim to the terror that was revealed to be inside.

Hall Legacy and OzPugh Productions present this landmark documentary film, which delves deep into the shocking and hidden truths behind the Area 51 fiasco as well as the Hunting Grounds Incident. The documentary film also reveals newly photographed footage of the most conclusive extra terrestrial encounter ever witnessed.

This past summer, award winning documentarian and filmmaker Matthew Charles Hall, founder of Hall Legacy, an up and coming film production company, brought the story of the “Hunting Grounds” to life with the help of fellow movie producers Troy Guthrie and Kevin Osborne. This collaborative group of filmmakers, whose work premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in May of 2008, is eager to share with you this compelling and frightening story.

HUNTING GROUNDS has being completely photographed in glorious 1080p HD in the beautiful wine country of Temecula, California where cast and crew began filming this epic drama of horror and fright in July. Special effects company Monster Asylum, led by creature designer and special effects artist Jonathan Fuller (BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER, ANGEL) has teamed up with Dental Distortions and special effects wizard Thad Whitley (RESIDENT EVIL: APOCALYPSE, DAWN OF THE DEAD) to create some of the most realistic and compelling visual effects that have ever been put into a horror film.

The project features the talents of James Carl Addison (who stars in Tim Burton’s upcoming ALICE IN WONDERLAND with Johnny Depp), Troy Guthrie (DARK HORIZON), Kevin Osborne (IN THE LAND OF PHANTOMS) Kier Mellour (MISS MARCH), Katie Kaufman (indie award winner SIDEWAYZ: DRIVE BY CHRONICLES) and Shauna Fleming (the award winning short film HALF COURT PUSH with Rachel Leigh Cook). In addition filmmaker and actor Brandon R. Miller serves as cinematographer. A graduate of Chapman University School of Film and Television, Brandon’s award winning film HIGH is now traveling the film festival circuit. Additional acting talent in this hot, young cast includes Bryant Pugh, Daniel Favela Gary, Hiro Saito, Brad Southerland, Alexei Ryan and Aleah Whaley.
